How does  it work?
 
  1. Simply request a quote by providing your, car, and services needed
  2. We will send you a quote within one business day, often sooner.
  3. Once confirmed,you can book an appointment by selecting a time that is convenient for you. We are available 5 days a week, 7am to 5pm.
  4. We pick up your car from home or work and take it to a partnered workshop. We oversee the work on your behalf and return the car the same day.
  5. You only pay after the work is done.
  6. All services are backed by our 12-month / 10,000 km (whichever comes first) warranty.
Is it more expensive than going to shops and dealers?
 
We bring many cars to our service center partners and benefit from volume discounts and we can share the savings with you! For smaller services (e.g. general service), the cost may be slightly higher than local shops because our Repairians must earn a minimum amount to justify the cost of traveling to you. If you value your time, the convenience of someone looking after your car you may easily justify spending a little more.
 
What if the mechanic finds that my car needs more or less services than I had requested?


You’re always in control. If our mechanic finds your car doesn’t need all the services you requested, we’ll remove those unneeded services and lower your bill. If your car needs additional repair services, we will notify you and provide you with an itemized list of what you need. You can decide to accept or decline those additional services.

Is there a fee to diagnose my car?

Diagnosis is $130/hour, and we quote you 1 hour per issue to start. If less time is needed, we’ll credit you the difference towards the repair. If more time is required, we’ll stop at 1 hour on each issue and let you know what we’ve found so far, and what the next steps are. Usually, the technician will be able to identify a relevant repair within the diagnostic time we have quoted; however, in rare circumstances, it might require additional time.

Is there a cancellation fee?

No, but if you want to, we can’t say no!

 What is the warranty on labour and parts?

We stand behind the workmanship and parts provided by our platform. Every service booked through Repairy comes with our 12-month / 10,000 km (whichever comes first) warranty, measured from the date the services are provided


Do you carry proper liability insurance?

Yes. Repairy carries commercial general liability insurance for services performed by the mechanics in our network.

How do I know the parts are of good quality?

Our parts catalog has a list of approved brands for each type of car and each type of part. We take pride in having a network of workshops that uses high-quality parts. Whenever possible, the parts used are OE parts or aftermarket parts that meet or exceed OEM service specifications. 

Do you ever use Remanufactured or used parts?

We don’t engage in the business of supplying or installing used parts. Only in very rare cases do the workshops in our network ever use remanufactured parts. Usually in older cars where the parts manufacturers have discontinued the production of new parts.
